An emergency line is no good to someone who cannot use the website. Here is where we stand, and how to reach us if something blocks you.

Shield Restoration works with people on the worst day of their year, and that includes people who use a screen reader, navigate by keyboard, or need larger text. This site is built to be usable by all of them. If it is not working for you, we want to hear about it and we will fix it.
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. In practice that means:
Two areas are honest exceptions. The interactive deployment map is a visual presentation of our storm-response range; the same information — regions, distances, and what the work involves — is written out in the text of that page. Some older guide photographs have brief alternative text that we are in the process of improving.
If any part of this site prevents you from getting what you need, do not fight with it. Call (814) 480-9422 and a person will answer, 24 hours a day. Anything on this site — an estimate request, a service question, a job application — can be handled over the phone instead.
If you hit a barrier on this site, tell us what page you were on, what you were trying to do, and what device or assistive technology you were using. We will respond within three business days and give you a straight answer about whether and when it can be fixed.
Accessibility is not a one-time audit. Pages are checked as they are added or changed, and this statement is updated when the situation changes.
